Complete this form to register your interest and a CoAct employment consultant will contact you to help with the application process.
Our recruitment process is as follows:

  • First, if you’re interested in a position with us, please apply and provide your resume and a cover letter. We’ll read every application. You may also be referred to us in other ways, including Disability Employment Service providers or other ASA partners.
  • In your application, we’d like to know about your transferable experience, including previous employment, volunteer experience and interests (e.g. gaming, IT).
  • We then shortlist candidates to undertake two activities:
  1. Part 1 activity is computer-based, focusing on pattern recognition, concentration and spatial reasoning.
  2. Part 2 activity is a questionnaire about you, your interests, and why you want to work at ASA.
  • Once we review the activities, we contact shortlisted candidates and arrange an interview that will take place in one of our ASA offices. If you are unsuccessful, we will let you know and provide feedback.
  • Before the interview, we’ll provide you with the questions 48 hours in advance so you can prepare your answers and develop your own questions. Please also think about what adjustments may be required to help you succeed in your role at ASA. We'd love to hear them at your interview.
  • On the interview day, we’ll show you the interview room orientation and design and access to facilities like toilets and quiet spaces. Your interview will include a small group of people, including our People Success Officer and a member from Human Resources. We will then go through the interview questions in order, and you can ask questions afterwards. You can also bring an assistance dog to your interview if this will make you feel more comfortable.
  • After the interview, we’ll inform you of the outcome within a week.
  • If you’re successful, we’ll organise your start date based on your needs and provide you with induction information.
  • If you’re unsuccessful, we’ll give you constructive feedback that you can use for your next journey. You’re more than welcome to reapply after 12 months.

“One of the best aspects of working at ASA is that I do not have to pretend to be someone else. I can be myself, like the rest of my teammates. From the beginning, I’ve observed my teammates’ growth as they bravely faced their fears and navigated through all the obstacles. The results are always heart-warming, and what once seemed daunting for them is now easily achievable.”
